TECHNICAL
Dry Cylinder Liner
Features:

In direct contact with the engine block
The outer surface does not come into contact with the cooling fluid
Thin and lightweight structure
Generally mounted to the engine block using a press-fit method

Functions:

Protection Against Wear:
Prevents wear on the engine block during piston movement

Surface Quality:
Provides a precisely machined surface for smooth piston operation

Economic and Practical Maintenance:
In case of wear or damage, only the liner needs to be replaced, avoiding the need to renew the entire engine block.

Applications:
Small engines and light commercial vehicles. Engines with lo cooling requirements, such as generators and agricultural machinery.
Wet Cylinder Liner
Features:

The outer surface is in direct contact with the cooling fluid. Has a thicker structure. Typically mounted to the engine block with seals to ensure fluid tightness.

Functions:

Heat Management:
Effectively transfers the high heat generated during combustion to the cooling fluid, preventing engine overheating.

Resistance to heavy loads and high pressure:
Durable in applications requiring high power

Ease of replacement:
oIn case of damage, only the liner can be replaced without harming the engine block.

Applications:
Heavy machinery, trucks, and buses. Agricultural machinery and marine engines.
Integral Cylinder Liner
Features:

Manufactured as an inseparable part of the engine block . Non-removable; the cylinder surface is machined directly into the engine block.

Functions:

Lightweight and Compact Design:
Saves weight and space, ideal for small engines.

Cost-Effectiveness:

Eliminates the need for separate liner production, offering a cost advantage.

Fixed Structure:
Does not require liner replacement, durable throughout the engine’s lifespan.

Applications:
Small-capacity engines, motorcycles. Economical engine designs.
Composite or Coated Cylinder Liner
Features:

The cylinder surface is reinforced with special coating (e.g., Phosphate, Chrome).

Functions:

Lightweight and Durable Structure:
Reduces the engine’s weight while providing resistance to wear.

Corrosion Resistance:
Protects against rust and chemical corrosive effects.

High Performance:
Offers high durability under thermal stress, making it ideal for high-performance engines.

Applications:
Racing vehicles and sports cars.
Hight-tech motorcycles.
Also preferred in internal combustion engines with wet-type cylinder liner.
Liquid- Cooling Composite Cylinder Liner
Features:

Manufactured using composite material technology, with the outer surface in contact with the cooling fluid. Offers both lightweight and cooling advantages.

Functions:

Effective heat management:
Direct Contact with the cooling fluid enhances thermal efficiency.

Lightweight Design:
Lighter than traditional wet liners, contributing to improved fuel efficiency.

Performance and longevity:
Provides resistance to wear and deformation in high-performance engines.

Applications:
Electric hybrid engines and sports car engines.
